Dear Recorders and Secretaries,

It is with sadness that we share the news of the falling asleep in Christ of our sister Margaret Simpson and her husband, brother Rob Simpson.

Sister Margaret was baptised over 30 years ago. She attended the Castle Hill Ecclesia until she transferred to Gosford in 2015 where she remained a member ever since. Brother Rob was baptised into Christ in 2021. 

In recent years, covid restrictions, health challenges, and ultimately distance and frailty preventing them from attending meetings at Gosford in person. They greatly appreciated the regular contact from fellow members and livestreamed meetings that kept them connected to the brotherhood.

Margaret and Rob now rest in the Lord, awaiting his return and the resurrection of the saints. Our thoughts and prayers are with their children, family and friends who mourn their passing at this time. 

A celebration of Margaret’s and Rob’s lives will be held on Friday, 18 July, at 12:00 pm at Greenway Chapel, 460 Avoca Drive, Green Point.
